3 new features to expect from Microsoft's Dynamics 365
TechRepublic’s Alison DeNisco Rayome met with Alysa Taylor, general manager for Microsoft’s business application and industry, at Microsoft Ignite to discuss three new features enterprises can expect with Dynamics 365.
1: Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions
With the arrival of Dynamics 365, organizations with high value and complex business processes can use AI to tailor their data set and build unique experiences.

2. New modular applications
Two new modular applications will be arriving soon from Microsoft’s talent offerings. These lightweight modular applications will allow businesses to quickly get up and running, Taylor said, no matter what kind of back end data set they have.
3. Continued extensibility enhancements
Enhancements are coming to PowerApps, PowerBI, and Flow. These will allow organizations to very easily to extend their datasets in an easy, low-code, or no-code way, Taylor said, as well as automating business processes.
“For businesses, it’s really about transforming lines of business functions and being able to keep up across the demands of their customers whether it’s better customer service, whether it’s being able to more quickly and efficiently troubleshoot problems in a field service scenario, so our vision is really modernizing these lines of business functions,” Taylor said.
