The iPhone 8 isn’t expected to be unveiled until this fall, but the internet may have already gotten its first look at some of the key parts of the highly anticipated device.
Alleged photos of the rear and front glass panels of the iPhone 8 were posted online today by a person claiming they come from a source in China. While we can’t verify the authenticity of the parts, they do look legit and line up with rumors regarding big design changes coming to the iPhone 8.
Take a closer look at the iPhone 8 front and rear panels:

The iPhone 8 is rumored to feature an all-glass design in the front and back in order to support wireless charging. Along with the iPhone 8 parts, the leaker on Reddit also posted pictures of the rear shells for iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus that are expected to debut alongside the iPhone 8.

Previous rumors have suggested that Apple will move Touch ID to the back of the iPhone 8 due to manufacturing problems with an embedded Touch ID in the display. If the parts above are genuine, it appears that Apple has solved the embedded Touch ID problem as there’s no cut out in the back for the home button.
To keep the speaker, FaceTime camera and microphone at the top, it looks like Apple is hiding them with the small black bar up top while the rest of the front is pure display. Other changes could include the dual-lens camera switching to a vertical array for better AR and VR features.
