Apple’s generous spirit and its bank account continue to keep on giving in light of another major disaster, this time in Mexico.

The company already donated millions of dollars to relief efforts for hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Now Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed that the company is sending money to Mexico to help clean up the damage done by the recent earthquake.

Mexico was hit by a deadly 7.1 magnitude quake on Tuesday. Entire towns near the country’s capital were flattened as a result and the death toll has risen to 250 people and counting. Rescue efforts are currently underway to rescue people trapped under the rubble with over 1,900 injured.

Cook sent out a tweet this afternoon that “while there is life there is hope” in Spanish. He also announced the company will donate $1 million to help relief efforts.

Apple donated $5 million last month to help hurricane victims in Florida and Texas. The company also made it easy for iPhone, iPad and Mac users to chip in by creating donation options in iTunes and the App Store.

The rebuilding efforts in Mexico could take years to complete. Damage is still being assessed as thousands of people have been left homeless.
