Apple’s most successful original TV show is coming back for a second act.

Carpool Karaoke has reportedly been greenlit for a second season, bringing even more odd celebrity pairings and silly singing shenanigans to Apple’s growing arsenal of original content.

The first episode of Carpool Karaoke debuted on Apple Music this summer after the series faced a few delays. Originally created by James Cordon as a segment for his late-night TV show, Carpool Karaoke spun out into its own show that featured celebrity hosts like Shaq, James Hetfield and the rest of Metallica, John Legend, and Chelsea Handler. CBS announced the renewal of Carpool Karaoke today. The first season was comprised of 16 episodes that lasted 30 minutes each. Unlike the original version, some scenes took place outside of the car too.

Apple has been making a bigger push into original content over the last few months. The company just bought a show by the creator of Friday Night Lights that will be based on the life of NBA star Kevin Durant. Other projects include a series by Reese Witherspoon, Steve Spielberg’s Amazing Stories anthology, a sci-fi drama from the creator of Battlestar Galactica and many more.
