iOS 11.3 landed with a bunch of big features this morning but it looks like Apple added a few small surprises not mentioned in its preview, including a new feature that makes it easier to tell when apps are trying to access your personal data.

Developers got a bunch of new features to play with in the release of iOS 11.3 beta 1. New Animoji, iCloud Messages, and more were added to the mix, but users might appreciate the new privacy screens the most.

Apple has made it easier to tell if you’re being lured into a phishing attack with its new privacy screen. Now when an app or feature requests to use your personal information a Privacy icon is displayed so you know if sensitive data is being collected.

Here’s what it looks like:

Apple says it won’t display the icon everytime with every feature but it’s being used to build a more secure foundation for iOS. The privacy icon is also being used in the new macOS 10.13.4 beta as well.

For now the feature is only available to developers, but it will make its way to the public when iOS 11.3 launches this spring.
