iPhone users that love using Gmail will soon be able to make it the only email app on your iPhone. Google revealed today that it has begun testing a new feature that allows users to connect third-party email services to the Gmail app.

If the feature is successful, iPhone users won’t even have to use Apple’s stock Mail app. It would also threaten other popular third-party email apps like Spark.

Android users have been able to connect third-party email accounts to Gmail for a while now. Offering the option to use non-Gmail accounts in the iOS app now makes it one of the accessible email platforms in the world.

It appears that Google is supporting Outlook, Yahoo! and other IMAP accounts. More features and options will likely be added through the beta process or after launch.

Google hasn’t said when the feature will be made available to the public. You can sign up to test it now by filling out this form. To be added to the testing program you have to a current Gmail iOS app users, have a non-Gmail email account and be running iOS 10 or higher.
